Dream of riding off on a horse into the sunset, or throwing your cowboy hat into the air while celebrating one of the happiest days of your life?! Well here’s a few tips and tricks from a photo and video team that appreciate the western vibes!

  1. The Flatlay

The flat lay is always one of my first shots of the wedding/elopement day and it captures the little details! Here is a moment in photography where you can capture some great western items that will make your wedding stand out….

2. The Cake

You can also add western touches to your wedding cake that aren’t too on the nose. Like the subtle rope framing this cake has or the dried decor on top.

3. The Location

Picking the perfect western location for your elopement or wedding can have guests taking about your amazing day for years to come! Here are some EPIC Western locations for your celebration.

4. The Outfits

Add Western flair to your wardrobe with boots, bolo ties, cowboy hats, silversmith jewelry, buckles, and lace. Here is some inspiration!

5. The Horses

What’s a cowboy or cowgirl without their ride? Add your horse friends into your photos or exit on your wedding day!

6. The Experiences

Have some western experiences on your wedding day:

Like branding a piece of cow hide to hang in your future home.

Having complimentary cowboy hats for your guests!

From a ranching family? Have a branding experience all of your own!

or have a grand ole exit! Ride off on horses, dirtbikes, side by sides, so on!
