A Zion National Park Elopement: The Love Story of Jesi and Tyler
Like all great modern romances, this one began…with a Facebook friend request. Not just any request though - Tyler, being the gentleman that he is, asked Jesi’s mom for permission first and after careful preperation, he followed up with the smoothest, most original line of all time, “Hey, how’s it going?'“
Somehow that simple line was the beginning of everything. They lived 40 minutes apart and had to drive a bit to see each other, but they made it work, and even took a trip out to Acadia National Park that sparked an interest in exploring together.
Tyler proposed to Jesi at Disneyland, and she never saw it coming, but of course she said, “YES!” They ended up eloping in Zion National Park and did their honeymoon in the remaining Utah parks of the Mighty 5. Here is their love story!

When it comes to elopements and destination weddings, many couples dream of saying "I do" in pristine outdoor settings—mountain peaks, coastal cliffs, dense forests, or serene lakesides. These natural landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for a wedding day full of beauty, intimacy, and adventure. But with the rising popularity of elopements and outdoor photography sessions, it's important to practice responsible stewardship of the nature that makes your photos so amazing! This is why at Roaming Desert Film Co. we are a Leave No Trace certified and aware photo and video team.

Shooting at Dead Horse Point State Park
Dead Horse Point State Park is one of my favorite state parks in Utah because it has views similar to the Grand Canyon and Horseshoe Bend, but is less traveled. It also has some of the best sunrises and sunsets I have ever seen, making it perfect for bridals, eloping, or an engagement/adventure shoot here.

Dream of riding off on a horse into the sunset, or throwing your cowboy hat into the air while celebrating one of the happiest days of your life?! Well here’s a few tips and tricks from a photo and video team that appreciate the western vibes!
