Bonneville Salt Flats Vow Exchange: The Love Story of Darian and Matt

Darian and Matt met in high school where Matt asked Darian to the prom. She ended up ghosting him for another guy, but that didn’t stop Matt. They later rekindled their love after high school and began dating.

Since their first kiss Darian knew that Matt was the one for her. Darian always dreamed of going to the Bonneville Salt Flats and sharing their vows in Wendover, Utah and that’s exactly what they did! Here is their love story!

The Stay and the Drive

We picked up the couple at their hotel (since they flew in from Louisiana). They got to make a vacation of their stay in downtown SLC by exploring the downtown scene (Lake Effect, Temple Square, the Capitol Building, Ensign Peak, Memory Grove, so on) and even caught the filming of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City while exploring.

On the drive to the Salt Flats we showed them the Great Salt Lake, the Great Saltair, and the Morton Salt Company and shared some laughs together.

Then we arrived at the Salt Flats and began with some individual shots of the couple.

The Vows

Then it was time for the vow exchange. We mic’d up the couple so that they could share their sweet vows.

Formal Photos

The rest of the time we spent taking formal photos of the couple on the Salt Flats. We got some nice sunset shots, blue hour shots, and also whipped out the drone for some cool aerial work!
