A Quiet Meadow Farms Wedding: The Love Story of Cate and Keith

Cate and Keith met swing dancing their freshman year of college and became good friends through living next to each other in the dorms, playing volleyball, and more swing dancing. They were just friends for a year and a half before they realized they wanted to be more than that. After college, they moved to Virginia for Cate’s medical school and are now moving to California! These two love traveling, hiking, and spending time with family. They chose to get married in the mountainous landscape of Utah, where some of their family lives, at the gorgeous venue of Quiet Meadow Farms. Here is their love story.

Getting Ready

The couple got ready in their separate suits at the beautiful barn at Quiet Meadow Farms. Cate did a first look with her brothers, father, mother, and bridesmaids.

Then Cate and Keith had their private vow exchange/first look in the orchard outside of the barn.

We took the bridal party photos ahead of time as well before the ceremony began!

Ceremony

They had their ceremony outside overlooking the orchard and the Utah mountains. Though the weather forecast for the day was thunderstorms. The rain did not pour over the ceremony, but rather we heard thunder rumbling in the distance while the sun still shone on us and the guests for most of the ceremony.

Formal Photos

The couple then took their family photos outside of the barn and their formal photos before the true thunderstorms hit. While we were taking pics, family and friends were enjoying a cocktail hour with Cate’s Aunt performing live music on the harp.

Reception

These two country swing dancers danced the night away with all of their friends. Then we ended the night with a bubble exit. I loved Cate’s outfit change for the reception into cowgirl boots and a dress with fringe overlays!
