Experimental and Light-Leaking Cameras to try for Vintage Vibes
When I got into photography, I actually started with film cameras and Lomography. I went to college in the middle of nowhere and would traipse through neighboring Ghost towns with various styles of film, documenting old broken windows or a flower growing out of the cement!
Though these little cameras were simple, and required no advanced editing in post, they brought me a plethora of joy! It was like Christmas morning getting my first roll of film developed for the first time. If you want to find happiness in your photography or re-inspire yourself, give these little numbers a try!
Diana F+
This 60’s style camera body was originally marketed as a novelty gift item, creating vibrant square images on 120 film. With it’s plastic lens, it slightly blurs images - creating a dream-like effect. It also has the error of light leak, which I personally love in film! You can have a lot fun doing double exposures with this camera, as well.
Here are some examples of photos from the Diana F+.

2. ActionSampler Clear
Be present in the moment (haha) by capturing 4 images at a time on this 35mm camera! This analogue camera captures sequentially, really embodying an action or motion. It’s a lot of fun to experiment with. Here are some images I have taken with it below!

3. FishEye
Do you like the 170 degree fish eye view? I do! This camera is so fun for multiple exposures as well as fun night imagery! It’s dressed in striped fabric and so cute. I personally love taking it to concerts or the skate park!
