5 Best Things to Do in Bryce Canyon

My favorite Utah National Park is……drum roll…… Bryce Canyon National Park! We are a local Utah photo/video team and here are our favorite things to do in and around Bryce Canyon!

  1. Sunrise and Sunset Points: Rim Trail

Distance: 1 mile

Difficulty: Easy

Pet friendly: Pets are allowed on all paved surfaces on leash.

This is a great spot for the classic view that everyone thinks of when they think of Bryce Canyon. The vibrant hoodoos are stunning especially for sunrise and sunset! Even if there is snow dappling the hoodoos, it’s still an epic and amazing sight!

2. Navajo Loop Trail

Distance: 1.5 miles

Difficulty: Moderate

Pet Friendly: No

Traverse switchbacks that take you into the walls of Bryce Canyon! Stunning views from an up-close perspective!

3. Red Canyon Horse Back Riding

When you’re in the wild west deserts you may as well saddle up! I love horses so this is always one of my go to activities. Book horse back riding Here. Or simply explore Red Canyon and the beautiful Scenic Byway 12.

*Drone footage is not allowed in Bryce Canyon National Park, but it IS allowed in Red Canyon.

4. Camping, Glamping, or Ranch Life

The Ranch at Wild Rose - great for large families or groups

*Night Photography is also amazing at these various stays or in and around Bryce Canyon National Park!

5. Ruby’s Inn General Store

Ruby’s Inn General Store is always a great place to go for shopping, art, jewelry, groceries, coffee, hiking supplies, so on!
