Eloping in Joshua Tree, California

Eloping in Joshua Tree, CA is a dream for the desert wandering couple that wants a relaxing retreat, stunning airbnb to share with their family and friends, intimate meals and local experiences with their loved ones, star gazing, and epic pictures with stunning desert views! Here are some tips and tricks from this photo/video team @ Roaming Desert Film Co. on how to create your desert vision you’ve been saving on your Pinterest board!

Hi there! We’re Tana and Cory Metcalf - a husband and wife photo/video team, local to Utah! We love exploring all that the world has to offer and taking our doggos along for the journey, as well! The deserts are our absolute favorite to capture!

Why Joshua Tree?

Joshua Tree, CA is one of the most quiet, calming, and peaceful places I have ever been! This, partnered with it’s desert charm, artsiness, and local vendors, can make it one of the most stunning places to elope or host your micro wedding. I personally love the lighting in Joshua Tree, as well as the chunky boulders, and beautiful desert foliage.

Not to mention the UNREAL starry skies.

Places to Stay

Joshua Tree, CA is chock-full of artistic, kooky, peaceful and relaxing airbnbs and it is part of the appeal of visiting the city to begin with!

My favorite company is The Joshua Tree House for their lovely design in architecture for the airbnbs they create! House of Kuna is also amazing!
