Bonneville Salt Flats

Thinking of grabbing some machines and going racing? Want to gamble and grab a buffet? See a show? Or just have a gorgeous photography session at sunset? The Bonneville Salt Flats is perfect for all 4 of these activities!

You can find this beauty just East of Wendover, Nevada and it is one of my absolute favorite places to take my camera!

Just be sure to check the conditions of the Salt Flats before you head out, because sometimes the winds can be strong making it difficult to photograph. As well as this, sometimes the flats can be wet, too. BUT sometimes this makes for such beautiful reflection in your images. Just be sure to check beforehand so you are prepared for anything!

Overall, this is such an amazing place to photograph. If you a camper, you can even camp out and take some incredible images of the night sky when the weather is clear and the sky is open.

One thing is for sure, this place will always have my heart! You can see why!
