A Quiet Meadow Farms Wedding: The Love Story of Killian and Alex

It all started with a swipe in May of 2023—shortly after Killian moved to Washington to start a new chapter working at the University. Amid the whirlwind of settling in, Killian matched with someone named Alex on a dating app. They started talking, and quickly realized they had more in common than they expected... including something kind of magical: they shared the same birthday.

After a couple of weeks of chatting, they decided to meet in person. June 10th, 2023—their very first date at Red Star Taco Bar. Killian (the girl who's usually early to everything) was over 30 minutes late, thanks to UW graduation traffic. She was sure Alex wouldn’t want a second date. But she texted him, told him she hadn’t ghosted him, and thankfully… he waited.

That small beginning turned into something that feels a little like a song—quiet and steady, with the kind of lyrics that only make sense to the two people in it. They ended up getting married for a fall wedding at Quiet Meadow Farm in Mapleton, UT. Here is their love story!

Getting Ready

The bridal party got ready in the bridal suite at QMF in matching Comfrt sweatsuits. While this was happening, the wedding family and crew helped decorate the whole barn in touches of red, an autumnal feel with white pumpkins. I love the way that they arranged the dinner tables so everyone could eat at one long table! It looked very regal.

Ceremony

They had their ceremony in the beautiful orchard at Quiet Meadow Farms. I loved their fall aesthetic with reds and white pumpkins so much!

Bridal Photos

We snuck out at sunset to take some pics on the owner’s property across from the QMF barn. We love shooting and filming at this venue because there are always so many diverse and gorgeous views around the grounds.

Reception

At their wedding reception they had a champagne tower, toasts, dinner, and dancing to their fav- Taylor Swift. The bride and groom of course knew all of the words! For their exit, Killian and Alex had a bubble and ribbon exit in their matching sweatsuits!
