The Love Story of Josh and Sam

Josh and Sam met on a Christian dating app. Sam reached out to Josh and said that they were going to be good friends, and the story began! They would quickly realize they were both passionate about their faith, cats, fitness, nature, exploring and running.

They decided to elope in the mountains of Salt Lake City, Utah in the fall, while Josh was also preparing for and running the Bear 100 ultra marathon race. They hiked Mt. Timpanogos on their honeymoon and saw wild white mountain goats and beautiful fall foliage. Here is their love story!

Josh and Sam started the elopement day in cute hiking outfits with matching socks. Their flat lay included their rings and sets of their grandparents rings. Plus a map of the mountains they were eloping in and the start of the Bear 100 race that Josh was going to run. Their bouquet was from Hidden Botanics everlasting dried wedding flowers.

They had their first look and ceremony at Cecret Lake up Albion Basin in Alta, UT.

We hiked down the mountain and ended our day overlooking the sunset at Little Cottonwood Canyon overlook, celebrating with a champagne spray and these cute “Just Married” signs on their hiking backpacks.

Follow these two in the future as they support and set up races for other athletes at Dino Series!
