Creative Painting Shoot

Sometimes as a Northern Utah Wedding photographer, I need to re-inspire myself in photography with a creative shoot! Need a quick idea to get your creative juices flowing? Here’s a shoot with minimum props to set up that can look really cool no matter what color scheme you chose!

What You’ll Need

  1. An old sheet - to hang as your backdrop

  2. Paint - We used Acrylic for this shoot

  3. Painter’s Palette

  4. Paintbrush

How To

Just paint your sheet and model with a similar design (I also think a photoshoot like this would be really cute for a date night idea). Then voila! You have it. Your creative shoot is ready. We chose to use green and plants for this plant lover, but feel free to use whatever colors are your favorite!

Tip: If I were to do this shoot over again I would use more paint on the backdrop for a better variety of shots. Think about the radius you are painting.

Hope you enjoy!
